Overview

This policy explains what Authe collects when you visit authe.io or use the Authe platform, why we collect it, and how you can control it. It covers the marketing site you're reading now as well as the Authe dashboard.

On-chain data Authe decodes — addresses, transactions, contract calls — is public blockchain data, not personal data about you. This policy is about the data we collect from you as a visitor, user, or customer.

Information we collect

Account information: when you sign up, our authentication provider (Auth0) collects your email address and manages your login credentials on our behalf.

Usage & performance data: we use Amazon CloudWatch RUM to record page loads, performance timings, and client-side errors so we can keep the site fast and reliable. This does not include the contents of anything you type.

Preferences: your theme (light/dark) is stored in your browser's local storage, not on our servers.

Support conversations: if you contact us by chat or email, we retain the conversation to respond to you and improve support quality.

How we use information

To operate and secure the platform, authenticate you, and provide the features you request.

To understand product usage and fix bugs and performance issues.

To respond to support, sales, and partnership inquiries.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to serve third-party advertising.

Cookies & local storage

Authe uses local storage (not third-party tracking cookies) to remember your theme preference, and session-scoped storage to remember whether you've dismissed a site banner. Authentication itself is handled by Auth0 via secure, HTTP-only session cookies.

Data hosting & regions

Authe runs on Amazon Web Services across multiple regions, with US and EU data residency options for customer workspaces. Static site assets are served via Amazon CloudFront.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of vetted subprocessors to run the platform: Auth0 (authentication), Amazon Web Services (hosting, observability via CloudWatch RUM, and chat via Amazon Connect). Each is bound by its own data protection terms.

Data retention & your rights

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@authe.io. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date below.
